Thanks to the efforts of Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven and some of his parishioners, the Connecticut state legislature on March 29, 1882, officially chartered the Knights of Columbus as a fraternal benefit society. The Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity.

What started out as a dream, became reality on December 5 th. After many hours by many volunteers we were finally able to provide a Knights of Columbus float in this year's Stoney Creek santa claus parade. The theme of the float was "Keep Christ in Christmas" and it turned out to be a beautiful day!
Once again, Council 14421 would like to thank all that volunteered, our fellow brother councils and all that donated to this wonderful cause. Without all of you, this wouldn't have been accomplished. God Bless.
